Cabo Verde government believes that in 2021 there will be conditions for the realization of the African free trade zone

Praia, Dec 9 (Inforpress) – The Cabo Verde Government believes that in 2021 there will be conditions for the realization of the African free trade zone (ZLEC), Foreign Minister Luís Filipe Tavares told Inforpress this Wednesday.

The statements were made on the sidelines of the inauguration of an information panel with images and text summarizing the history of the ancient hydrobase of Aéropostale, a pioneering aviation company founded in 1919, in France, located in Calheta de São Martinho, Ribeira Grande de Santiago.

The minister was thus taking stock of the 13th and 14th extraordinary session of the Assembly of the African Union (AU), which took place by videoconference, on December 5 and 6.

“We had two important points on the agenda: a first, which had to do with the trade issue, the African continental free trade area, which is important and then we will also talk about an African Union project, since 2013, the silencing of the guns in Africa,” he said.
