Praia, Feb 23 (Inforpress) – The Minister of Justice and Labour of Cabo Verde, Janine Lélis, and her counterpart from Portugal, Francisca Van Dunem, sign an agreement Monday to support the legal and judicial training of portuguese-speaking countries.
According to a press release, this ceremony, which takes place ‘online’, and in which Janine Lélis will be president-in-office of the Ministers of Justice of Portuguese-speaking Countries (CMJPLOP) Conference, aims to initial the delegation agreements on the Training and Cooperation Platform developed under the Project to Support the Consolidation of the Rule of Law in the PALOP and East Timor (PACED).
The collaborative web platform between PALOP and East Timor justice bodies, coordinated by the respective Ministries of Justice, aims, according to the same note, to facilitate the exchange and creation of communication networks, in a dual valence of training and cooperation.
As explained, the pedagogical and didactic development of the Platform will be ensured by the Center for Judicial Studies of the Ministry of Justice of the Portuguese Republic (CEJ), and the Institute of Financial Management and Justice Equipment, IP (IGFEJ, IP), will ensure the accommodation and technological maintenance of the Platform, for 10 years.
