Espargos, Apr 11 (Inforpress) – The businessman Jorge Spencer Lima was elected on Friday afternoon, the 8th, in Sal, as the new president of the Chamber of Tourism of Cabo Verde, in an elections that had a single list, Inforpress found out today.
The single list was unanimously elected by the 364 votes cast, with no votes against or abstentions, results that for the new chairman of the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Tourism is a sign of confidence around this new team.
The new social bodies have members from various Islands of the country, which manifests a “clear signal” of the new direction in order to have associates throughout the archipelago.
In a first reaction, Jorge Spencer Lima, “Scapa” as he is also known, describes the list elected as “a list of consensus and continuity” and promised to work in union of efforts with the Government and with all partners for the recovery of the tourism sector and the economy of the country.
