Nova Sintra, Aug 30 (Inforpress) – A group of women from Brava will meet this Tuesday to finalize the last details of the Statute to continue the creation of an association for women in the island.
The information was provided to Inforpress by the activist of the People Project and member of the group, Maria Gomes, who explained that for some time now women from almost all locations of Brava have been meeting monthly for the debate of some topics.
According to the same source, the creation of this association is part of the second phase of the group’s activities, where they are analyzing this subject, as well as the need and possible steps to be taken for the creation and implementation of the association.
At this time, she said that they have already begun to work on the Statute, and at Tuesday’s meeting will finalize the details and then proceed with the election of members, the registration of the association and other procedures with the Notary Office.
