Nova Sintra, Mar 31 (Inforpress) – The Shell station in Brava Island has ongoing a campaign to collect empty gas bottles and has already canceled new contracts to control the purchase of unnecessary quantities, said agent Daniel Miranda on Monday.
The agent made these statements in an interview with Inforpress, where he took the opportunity to said that in “no time” they announced a stockout.
He explained that the demand for buying gas in Brava came after people saw in the media what was happening in Boa Vista Island, leading several people to buy gas and clean up the stock that was there for the entire month.
However, Daniel Miranda stressed that the stock has already been replaced, since two days ago they received the ship that supplied them with butane, diesel, gasoline and are “prepared for a month and a half of consumption in the island”.
“The only thing we are doing at the moment is canceling new contracts, taking into account that we were collecting the empty gas bottles, people have already had limited gas bottles at home, so there is no way to buy more than they need, since we are not making contracts”, reinforced the agent.
