Brava: Passengers stranded in Fogo accuse CV Interilles of “negligence”

Nova Sintra, Oct 22 (Inforpress) – A group of passengers from Brava Island who have been waiting for its return trip for a few days accuse CV Interilhas of “negligence” and stranded them on the island “without concrete information”.

Austelino Tavares, the group’s spokesman, told Inforpress, there are passengers who have been waiting for information about the boat to Brava island since Saturday. Tavares arrived in Fogo Island on Sunday, with the prediction that he could continue his trip to Brava Island on the same day.

However, according to the same source, they sent a message announcing that the trip planned for Sunday was postponed until Tuesday, but when it was confirmed at the agency was informed that the ship had already gone to Brava Island.

Hence, Austelino Tavares accuses CV Interilhas of “negligence and miscommunication”.

Notwithstanding this, he pointed out that they were presented with a stopover where the ship would make a direct Praia-Brava trip today, but would not pass through Fogo Island to take the passengers who are being stranded there.
