Nova Sintra, 04 Sep (Inforpress) – Brava Island hosts, on the 5th and 6th of this month, the regional youth forum in the Fogo and Brava region on “Local Development through the Young People’s Eyes, Enhancing Tourism”, with the participation of several national experts.
This initiative, according to a press release, aims to be a space for discussion and sharing of ideas about innovative strategies and sustainable practices for the development of the tourism sector in the region
According to the organization, in the initial panel, entitled “New Strategies for Sustainable Tourism,” experts will share “insights” and innovative practices aimed at the sustainable development of tourism in the Fogo and Brava region.
The initial panel will address existing initiatives, challenges faced and results achieved so far, by Francisco Martins, from the Cape Verde Tourism Institute, and best practices for sustainable tourism by Luísa Jorgensen, from Zebra Travel, in addition to João da Luz, which will present new strategies, creative approaches and examples of success in promoting environmental, social and economic sustainability in the tourism sector.
