Brava: CV Fast Ferry “indignant” with inspection of the IMP “without prior notice”

Nova Sintra, May 03 (Inforpress) – CV Fast Ferry’s management has expressed “indignation” with the inspection carried out Thursday, 2nd, in the City of Praia, to its Kriola ship, by the Maritime and Port Institute (IMP), which led it to cancel the Praia-Fogo-Brava trip.

According to a note sent to Inforpress, CV Fast Ferry informed that at the time of arrival at the port of Praia, on 2nd, the vessels Kriola and Praia d’Aguada underwent an inspection carried out by the IMP, with the Praia d’Aguada ship been evaluated positively.

In the Kriola ship, for its part, were identified “some irregularities”, related to documents and local archiving, which led to the impediment of travel according to the schedule.

The company reveals “total indignation” over the way the process took place, without thinking about the isolation of Bava Island and respect for passengers who were already checking in at the Port of Praia, which caused “direct inconvenience” to them, mainly to those who are retained in Fogo Island, during the celebrations of São Filipe.
