Boxing: Nancy Moreira wins Les Ceintures tournament in France

City of Praia, 14 May. (Inforpress) –The Cape Verdean international boxer Nancy “Yvanusa” Moreira, an Olympic scholarship holder for Paris’2024, won the Les Ceintures Tournament, held in France, this Saturday, by beating an Olympic athlete from Morocco in the final.

The Creole athlete won the belt in dispute with the full of victories in the three fights, firstly on Thursday against a Frenchwoman, number three in the world, to qualify for the final on Friday, by eliminating an opponent from Lithuania in the semifinal, and on saturday he won the much sought after belt, facing the olympic boxer from moroccan.
