Sal Rei, Jun 30 (Inforpress) – The president of the Cultural Heritage Institute (IPC) reported today that formal processes have begun to rehabilitate the archeology center of Boa Vista, in Sal Rei, and the Fort Duque de Bragança, in the Djéu islet.
Hamilton Fernandes, who told Inforpress about the mission to Boa Vista, said that the works will start next July.
The visit, according to the same source, was also an occasion for meetings with local partners, including the City Hall, to start the implementation of projects related to the preservation of heritage and creation of new offers in terms of cultural tourist attractions.
Accompanied by the director of the Museums, Ana Baessa, and the architect, Ricardo Ortet, on visits to the building of the former customs, located on the coast of Praia de Diante, in the city of Sal Rei, which will house the Archeology Center of Boa Vista, Hamilton Fernandes reported that the space has already been granted by the Ministry of Finance to the Ministry of Culture.
