Boa Vista: Prime Minister believes there may be a “good winter tourism on the island”

Sal Rei, Nov 15 (Inforpress) – The Prime Minister considers that everything points to a “good good winter on the island” and stressed the importance of this recovery to Boa Vista and the country and for the growth of sectors of economic activity.

Ulysses Correia e Silva made this consideration during the meeting with the economic and tourist operators in the Boa Vista island, held this Sunday, in one of the City’s hotels, framed in the agenda of a four-day visit to the island, which began Saturday and ends on Tuesday.

The ruler considered “good” the meeting, justified by the opportunity to “inform, listen to the concerns and proposals” by Boa Vista entrepreneurs, because it is one of the islands most affected with the crisis caused by the pandemic, since it depends on tourism.

“We believe and everything points out that we will have a winter tourist with good level in the Boa Vista Island,” he said, stressing that this represents an important advance for this recovery, noting that tourism also creates a market for other sectors, such as agriculture, fishing and transport.
