Sal Rei, Feb 11 (Inforpress) – The Vice President of the Cabo Verdean Football Federation, Paulo Santos, today challenged Boa Vista to host the final of the national football championship, senior male, aiming to develop other useful football projects of the island.
Paulo Santos launched the challenge during the opening of the training for beach soccer coaches and referees that began today on the island of Boa Vista, taught by the assistant coach of the Portuguese team, Luís Birro, and responsible for the refereeing of beach soccer of the Portuguese Football Federation.
According to the Cabo Verdean Football Federation leader, this training, which will run until Friday, 14th, is “an additional step in the materialization of the governance program of the Cabo Verdean Football Federation and the development of football in Cabo Verde”.
Paulo Santos announced that the federation designed, in partnership with the City Hall, a beach soccer project for the island of Boa Vista that includes the acquisition of an infrastructure, various trainings, and will result in the holding of the beach soccer Inter-islands in mid-August, in Boa Vista, with the representation from all the islands where the sport is practiced.
