Sal Rei, Nov 23 (Inforpress) – The PAICV candidate for Mayor of Boa Vista said that the party will file a criminal complaint against the provisional chairman of the municipal assembly Bureau, Elisabete Évora, who suspended the installation of the municipal bodies.
Walter Évora made these statements at a press conference this Sunday at the party’s headquarters in Sal Rei, Saturday, following the provisional board president’s decision, Elisabete Évora who, on Friday, suspended the installation of municipal bodies.
Before, the president of the provisional Bureau, would have read the proposals presented by the Movement for Democracy (MpD) and the African Independence Party of Cabo Verde (PAICV), did not submit them to the plenary vote, rose from the table and abandoned the living room.
In list A, the MpD proposed Elisabete Évora to the presidency of the Municipal Assembly, Walter Évora (PAICV) for vice president, and Sérgio Corrá, from the Popular Party (PP), for secretary. PAICV, on the other hand, presented list B, with Walter Évora nominated for the presidency of the Boa Vista Municipal Assembly, Roberto Ramos, for vice president, and Cecílio Pinto, for secretary.
