Praia, Oct 13 (Inforpress) – The president of the Institute of Employment and Professional Training (IEFP) said he believes that the blue economy will contribute to the country’s economic growth and therefore, the institution he runs has been betting on the sector .
Paulo Santos made these statements, Monday, in the city of Praia, as part of the second phase opening of the Training for Fisheries Inspectors, this time for candidates from the southern region of the country, the first phase being for candidates from Barlavento.
“For us this sector is one of the pillar sectors alongside the other sectors, which are the digital economy, the green economy and the economy of the creative industries”, stressed the IEFP president, sating that he placed the blue economy as one of the priority economies in the regards the promotion of economic growth.
Paulo Santos said that the fact they are now training a second group in Sotavento, after a first in the Barlavento region, shows that the best qualifying conditions are being created.
