Binter CV formalizes agreement with Ministry of Health to improve medical evacuations in the country

Praia, Nov 15 (Inforpress) – Binter CV is providing patients evacuation services in the country as part of its “corporate social responsibility policy” and its “commitment to Cabo Verdean society”, with all safety and comfort.

This is the content of the agreement of cooperation signed on Wednesday 14th between Binter CV and Social Security which establishes the conditions under which the airline will carry out the medical evacuations between the islands, “without any economic benefit for the company”.

“The Government of Cabo Verde requested from Binter CV all the technical support necessary to carry out the evacuations, with all the guarantees of safety and comfort, by launching a more efficient and professional evacuation system, taking into account that neither Binter CV nor its crew are specialized in this type of service”, is read in the press release of Binter CV to which Inforpress had access today.

This agreement, according to the document, states that evacuations should be communicated at least 48 hours in advance, except in cases of obvious urgency, but “they will only be carried out if the requirements necessary to guarantee the safety of the evacuated person and the rest passengers and crew”.
