Praia, May 10 (Inforpress) – Cabo Verdean basketball player Edy Tavares was considered, for the third consecutive year, the best defender in the Spanish League of the 2022 season 23.
“The Cabo Verdean (…) was elected the best defender in the Endes League for the third consecutive season, an award that only the African has won since its inception”, reads the Spanish newspaper AMarca.
According to the same source, the panel of judges, made up of nine specialists, ended up awarding the Maiense 16 out of 27 possible points, three more than Alberto Díaz (Unicaja Málaga) and Ethan Happ (Rio Breogán).
