Cidade de Praia, Oct 25 (Inforpress) – “Electronic payment systems” is the theme of a forum that BAI Cabo Verde will hold today, in the City of Praia, as part of the celebrations for its tenth anniversary.
According to a press release sent to Inforpress, the choice of this topic is due to the importance that electronic means of payment have had in Cabo Verde, in terms of transactions and the amount of total amounts processed.
The same source reports, citing data from the Interbank and Payment Systems Company (SISP), the market for electronic payments in Cabo Verde “grows year after year” and this advance is justified in the preferences of the population.
The “Electronic payment systems” forum will be delivered by the general director of the Interbank and Payment Systems Company (SISP), Jair Silva.
SISP essentially works with electronic payment means such as the vinti4 network (190) and more than 295 thousand card users networks, for more than 27 million transactions / year.
