Porto Novo, Mar 1 (Inforpress) – The Atlantic Technical University (UTA), headquartered in Mindelo, will have by 2025 all organic units, research centers and services fully functioning, in addition to all regulations and study cycles .
The information was provided, Tuesday, by UTA’s pro-rector, Lia Medina, during the forum on training and research needs in the agro-environmental domain in the northern region of Cape Verde, which took place in the city of Porto Novo, in Santo Antão. , in an initiative of the Institute of Agricultural Sciences and Technologies (ICTA).
“Our challenge is to provide, by 2025, the UTA with all the regulations, services, organic units, research centers and study cycles necessary to achieve its objectives”, stated Lia Medina.
In addition to the Institute of Engineering and Marine Sciences, in São Vicente, UTA already has a second organic unit in operation, the ICTA, in Santo Antão, and is in the process of installing a third unit, the Institute of Aeronautics and Industry Touristic, on the island of Sal.
