Mosteiros, Feb 16 (Inforpress) – The sports councilor at the City Hall of Mosteiros, Nelson Pires, announced on Monday the third edition of the Coffee Race to be held in April 23 in the island of Fogo.
Speaking via telephone, the Mayor explained to Inforpress that this event is held within the scope of the coffee festivities that are held annually.
As the same source said, this event was introduced in the festivities in 2018, but in the meantime it was suspended last year due the COVID-19 pandemic.
“This year the event will take place, but within the standards required by health authorities and we will make sure that all municipalities can participate with a representative,” he informed.
