Praia, Dec 15 (Inforpress) – The president of the Cabo Verdean Athletics Federation, re-elected this weekend for a new four-year term, at a general meeting held in Espargos (Sal) today reiterated his commitment to continue working for strengthen sport in the country.

Alfredo Lima continues to leading the fate of Cabo Verdean athletics, and is now at the head of a team with many new faces who join Cabo Verdean athletics figures such as technical secretary Alfa Djaló and national coach Júlio Nagana.

Unanimously elected by the associative delegates present, the new FCA team elected the theme “Continue working for athletics for all in Cabo Verde” and promised to decentralise the events to all sports regions with at least one national competition throughout the year.
