Praia, Aug 25 (Inforpress) – The Food and Drug Administration Regulation and Supervision Agency (ARFA) will establish cooperation with the National Food Supply Company of Brazil (CONAB) on food safety, informed the institution.
Speaking to the press, the ARFA administrator, Patricia Miranda Alfama, said that the meeting held on Thursday with the Brazilian mission in charge to negociate the technical cooperation project between the two institutions focused on the important aspects to develop this partnership.
The ARFA’s administrator pointed out that CONAB, a public company linked to the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Food Supply of Brazil, has many experiences in the food safety area which it can share with ARFA.
“It is very important for ARFA to know the experience of Brazil, one of the largest producers and exporters of cereal in the world,” said Patricia Miranda Alfama.
