Ana Graça in the Presidency to present “16 days of activism for the eradication of violence against women”

Praia, Nov 29 (Inforpress) – The United Nations representative in Cabo Verde, Ana Graça, went to the Presidency of the Republic today to present to José Maria Neves some general points of the “16 days of activism for the eradication of violence against women” campaign.

With the Head of State we addressed issues related to human rights and others related to the cooperation framework between the United Nations and Cabo Verde, said Ana Graça.

On the high priorities, she said that are those are being addressed by the Government and the country for about a year and a half and “are mirrored in the 2030 ambition”.

“We are talking about the major axes that actually have the potential to leverage the Cabo Verdean economy more inclusively and fairly, whether it is the issue of the oceans, the blue economy and climate action,” said the European Union’s representative in Praia.
