Praia, Nov 15 (Inforpress) – The Ministry of Culture and Creative Industries announced today that the Atlantic Music Expo (AME-CV) 2018 will be held by a group of private companies along with City Hall of Praia.
The Minister Abrãao Vicente had announced on the 13th that the Government no longer finances the Atlantic Musica Expo (AME-CV), indicating that the event was consuming a third of the investment budget of the Ministry of Culture and Creative Industries.
According to the Minister, it was a “very difficult” decision, but from now on it will be up to the private sector to take part in the event, ensuring that the Government is available to mobilize resources from the partners.
However, after several reactions of dissatisfaction in the media and social networks about the possibility of the end of the AME, the Ministry of Culture and Creative Industries announced today in his facebook page that the AME 2018 will go to the private, in a concession made through the State.
