Almost a hundred passengers for Fogo retained in Brava due to the wild sea

Sao Filipe, April 4 (Inforpress) – More than eight dozen passengers who traveled Monday on the fast ferry to the Fogo Island are retained in Brava due to the wild sea in the Vale dos Cavaleiros port.

Passengers arrived on Brava Island around 5 PM Monday and most of them spent the night at the passenger platform, a space provided by the port authorities, according to some passengers contacted by Inforpress.

Usually, the fast ferry connects Praia / Sao Filipe / Furna (Brava), but on Monday it went directly to the Furna port since with the strong ripples, with giant waves it was impossible to dock in the Vale dos Cavaleiros, which since last Thursday has been  rough seas.

On Brava Island, the fast ferry, after leaving the passengers had to leave the port due to the state of the sea and stayed for a few hours off, and then returned, around 10:00 PM to the port, where it was in the Tuesday morning.
