Praia, Nov 19 (Inforpress) – The administrator of the Cabo Verde Institute for Tourism(ITCV), Francisco Martins, announced that in the coming years the Government plans to invest about 50 million euros in the sector operational programme.
“The program has five subprograms and one of the components is precisely the training of human resources in the cross-cutting aspect of tourism and all sectors of the economy which converge with tourism,” said the administrator of the Institute for Tourism.
Francisco Martins made these considerations on Thursday, in the signing act of the agreement signed by the presidents of the Chambers of Commerce and Tourism of Cabo Verde and the president of the Cameral Institute Foundation for the Creation and Development of Enterprises in Spain.
For the administrator of the ITCV, who was representing the Minister for Tourism, the training will be “very focused on the certification of skills”, covering areas such as renewable energy, water sports, blue economy, cruise tourism.
