Praia, Jul 17 (Inforpress) – The Cabo Verdean Association of Lisbon (ACV) is organizing a roundtable on the Cabo Verdean and Guinean Bissau Democratic Action Group and the Cabo Verdean and Guinean Association, will take place next 18th, in Portugal.
According to an information note from this association, this event is held within the scope of the Lecture Series on the History of the LCA that aims to mark and celebrate the 50th anniversary of its creation.
According to the same source, the speakers will be Drs. José Pedro Morais, Manuel Chantre, Maria de Jesus Carvalho and the sportsman Nuno Delgado, followed by a reading of a testimony of Helena Lopes da Silva, who died in September 2018.
The Cabo Verdean Association of Lisbon is an institution of public utility and has the recognition of the former President of the Republic of Portugal, Jorge Sampaio. It is also recognized by the Office of the High Commissioner for Migration and brings together the title of House of Culture awarded by the former Minister of Culture, Mário Lúcio.
