ACACV intends to make the female cinema exhibition a reality in the country – responsible

Praia, Mar 6 (Inforpress) – The vice-president of the Cabo Verde Film and Audiovisual Association (ACACV), Júlio Silvão, said Thursday, in Praia, that he intends to make the female cinema exhibition a reality in the country.

During his speech at the opening session of the first edition of the Film Directed by Women (CEBA), Júlio Silvão promised that ACACV will continue to be a partner in this initiative for the affirmation of women in the Cabo Verdean cinematographic world.

“We express our willingness to continue to be a partner and help provide more resources so that the film show for women is a reality in Cabo Verde”, he underlined.

The first exclusive exhibition of films by women entitled CENA, an initiative by the journalist and writer Chissana Magalhães, takes place today and Friday, 6th, at the School of Business and Governance of the University of Cabo Verde.
