Praia, Apr 23 (Inforpress) – About 90 bibliographic collections have already been selected to integrate the National Reading Plan (PNL), whose site is still under construction, said today the National Director of Education.
Eleonora Sousa, who was speaking to Inforpress as part of the World Book Day commemoration, which is celebrated today, said this plan is currently in the process of being designing, which involves the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Culture and Creative Industries, coordinated by the National Library of Cabo Verde.
“At this time, we already have the survey of the recommended works under this plan and the catalog for its dissemination. The site and logo are under construction, so we are at this stage before we move forward to raising awareness among the Cabo Verdean community, and the writers have already been informed their works are on the list of recommended works”, she said.
Eleonora Sousa reported that about 90 works were identified, most of which are from Cabo Verdean literature and the biographies identified were divided into age groups, that is, from 0 to 6 years, from 6 to 12, from 12 to 16 and over 16 years.
