Espargos, Mar 31 (Inforpress) – SalAcademy is the training entity that will train, for two and a half months, professionals from different institutions, in Sal Island, framed in the training program for people who work directly and indirectly with tourists.
Considering the Sal Island is going through a “complicated time” because of the increase in the COVID-19 virus, SalAcademy representative Nádia Évora said if the communication, information does not reach the target audience correctly it could result counterinformation.
“There is a need to pass information more assertively. All staff participating in this training should be able to pass on the information that Cabo Verde is prepared to welcome new tourists, to combat the risk of spreading the virus (…)”, he pointed out, noting the need for the strengthening of foreign languages, particularly English and French.
This training course starting today with the Customs group, highlights among the programmatic contents, the improvement of service techniques, communication and assertive information, the mastery of foreign languages, French and English, as well as ethics and professional deontology, and the strengthening of standards and measures to prevent COVID-19.
